# Maybloc data retention, deletion and privacy

> Recordings are kept 7 days and results 30 days, then deleted. You can delete a transcript and its recording at any time. Recordings are private to your workspace and not used to train models.

## How long is my data kept?

Recordings are kept for 7 days and results for 30 days, then deleted. For video uploads, only the audio track is kept for playback, and the video file is deleted when the transcript finishes.

## How do I delete a recording now?

Send `DELETE /transcripts/{id}`. It deletes the recording and the result at once and returns `204`. Billing records stay. A transcript that is still running must be canceled first.

## Who can see my recordings?

Recordings and results are private to your workspace. Your recordings are not used to train models.
