# Languages supported by the Maybloc API

> The API transcribes 45 languages. Set config.language to a language code, or leave it as auto to detect the language. Full list with codes.

## How do I set the language?

Set `config.language` to a language code from the table, or to `auto` (the default) to detect it. Detection works for one language per recording. If you know the language, set it.

## Which languages are supported?

The API transcribes these 45 languages:

## Can I translate a transcript?

Yes. Use the [translation add-on](https://docs.maybloc.com/guides/add-ons.md) with `translate_to` to get the transcript and subtitles in up to 5 other languages from the same list.
